Rostokino is a project of a transport interchange hub with apartments.
The concept of the project is inspired by the dense but cozy urban development of Tokyo. Being in the heart of a vibrant traffic intersection, the complex is intended as quiet, protected from external noise as if turned inward. High-speed tracks and high passenger traffic contrast with the calm and human-scale environment of the project.
The North-East Expressway being under construction now, Prospekt Mira and several road and railway lines intersect at the design land, forming a compelling transport hub. A small shopping gallery with apartments for rent is designed next to the MCC station.
Classical strict facades are trimmed with metal mesh, forming complex regular ornaments.
All objects of the complex are connected by a common network of covered pedestrian galleries.
