STONE Mnevniki-3 is a business centre located in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, on a bend of the Moskva River. The setting shaped the project’s main objective: to create a distinctive silhouette for the emerging business district while preserving its connection to the open landscape of the floodplain. The two towers become new landmarks, visible from the key viewpoints across the area.
Their form evokes two massive stones standing by the water. Wind and time seem to have softened their edges, giving the volumes a sense of calm and permanence.
The taller tower faces the river and acts as a local landmark. It is visible from the opposite bank, the Krylatsky Bridge and the Rowing Canal. The lower building stands closer to the street and continues the established line of the surrounding development.
In plan, each tower is divided into two offset volumes. Deep vertical cuts break through their smooth outlines and give the buildings a sculptural quality. The walls rise above the office floors and sharpen this contrast. At night, the cuts fill with light and their reflections appear on the surface of the river.
Glass and metal establish a precise rhythm across the façades. Their clear geometry brings structure to the towers’ soft forms and gives the complex a restrained, professional character.
