CONCEPT

The beginning of the New Age is a period when the basic laws of the universe were discovered. In the XVII century Johann Kepler described an elliptical system of movement of celestial bodies in heliocentric orbit. Ideas of Kepler, Descartes, Galileo, Euler gave rise to a new European outlook based on knowledge.

Residential complex Kepler House is a place of absolute harmony, simple order, knowledge and contemplation. And the prototype of the correct system of this project was Kepler's model of the solar system.


Kepler House is a place where the secrets of space reveal the involvement of any observer in the rare knowledge. The complex's sophisticated structure and system of complementary volumes keep the eyes of those who live there or just walk by.

A special knowledge sets everyone who comes to the Kepler House complex on a careful contemplation and creates inner harmony. The modernist manifesto positions the building as a housing machine, but we shift the focus towards the building, which becomes the mechanism for adjusting the harmony.

The facades of the complex converted into a courtyard are truncated with another ellipse. With this trimming, they turn away from each other and create an interesting game of detail.

The Kepler House towers are located around the courtyard. The lower part of the towers is truncated with an ellipse, the inner courtyard. In one part of the ellipse there is a wilderness corner. In the other part, there is a reduced model of the whole complex, which everyone can look at, find new details, and understand how everything works.
