Usually, there are no such things as channels and islands in the cities with urban green zones. But Sadovnicheskaya street is an exception – it's located on the island between two channels right in the middle of the city.

The task of the project is to restore the identity of the Sadovnicheskaya street – to equip the gardens between the canals.

Sadovnicheskaya street came with Godunov city plan – more than 450 years ago. First appear on Austrian ambassador Meyerberg map in 1661. The oldest building, the stone chamber, was built in XVII century. The famous garden was created in 1495 after Ivan III's will.
