Business Center
Moscow, Novokuznetskaya, 7

Business Center "Novokuznetskaya, 7" is a former factory-kitchen, built in 1932 by Soviet constructivists. Within the last 80 years the building has lost its original appearance and become useless. We decided to preserve and carefully reconstruct the building, turning it into an example of high-quality contemporary architecture. A new structure has been integrated inside the building, a special foreside system has been designed and introduced to restore panoramic windows opening a wide constructivist staircase. The building has become an integral part and a symbol of Zamoskvorechye. It is a modern business complex, made according to the latest technology and integrally blending into the urban environment.

"We made a great foyer. Its contains of 4 levels brought together by a large serpentine staircase. Two anti-aircraft lanterns illuminate the hall from above"

Sergey Pereslegin
"We felt like neurosurgeons in the operating room: we had to construct something good from total trash in really hard circumstances"

Nikolay Pereslegin
"In 1930's it was not that simple to get proper building materials: the house was literally built from whatever - stone, red bricks and silicate bricks. They used scrap metal for concrete reinforcement: steel stripes, pins and corners".

Georgy Trofimov
